Book Reviews of Cure Unknown: Inside the Lyme EpidemicBook Review: The New Tuskegee Summary: 5 Stars
Superb book that reads like a scientific who-done-it. Rarely has Lyme Disease been as accurately presented in the variety of symptoms, treatments and policies. But most of all it describes a heartless medical bureaucracy that sacrificed thousands of families into bankruptcy, permanent illness and even death to satisfy insurance company lobbyists. Lyme is the Tuskegee experiment of this century.
Book Review: Lyme disease was covered up by the powers that be Summary: 5 Stars
Great book.
Lyme is just another story of special interest groups in Washington paying off doctors to lie to the public and deny treatment or even diagnosis.
A must read.
If you already have lyme (many do and dont know it) beware lyme uses a "efflux pump" to resist all tetra and marcolide class abx. There are ways to plug this pump.
Book Review: cure unknown the greatest help Summary: 5 Stars
I am happy that a 10 year lyme disease sufferer pointed this book out. . I have used bookmarks and highlighter while reading this book. This book can be used as a reference walking the jungle of lyme disease. It also is written in a way that it is not boaring to read even parts which are realy clinical. I found a lot of pointers where to look for doctors who are willing to help.

Book Review: CURE UNKNOWN Summary: 5 Stars
I highly highly recommend this book. After reading this book I now understand how Lyme disease has become so political. I am greatfull to the author for bringing attention to these issues. Hopefully this book will break down some of the walls around Lyme disease and make it easier for patients to get diagnosed and find proper treatment.
