Book Reviews of Dangerous Games (Tempting SEALs)Book Review: Smoakin!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Okay...first let me say that I absolutely hated Megans'Mark book 1 of the breeds series so I was very, repeat VERY hesitant to invest any more money into this author. Boy am I glad I did. I really enjoyed this book alot.
I've never really read anything that had this level of the bondage/submission stuff so I considered this a learning experience at it's best.
The relationship between Clint and Morganna was so hot it scorched the pages and the sex scenes, well they are smoakin' hot, to say the least.
I can honestly say that at times I laughed, at times I cried I even called my friends to read sections to them.
This is a great series and I can't wait to buy the next one! The SEAL aspect was what drew me into this series, I'm glad I gave in and tried it.
Book Review: Irresponsible Summary: 1 Stars
Firstly, this is an erotica book dressed up in romance clothing (I suspect to mislead romance readers into spending their money).
Now on to the part as to why I give it ONE star:
How in this day and age, can an author promote unprotected sex between the two main characters when the male lead has his own rented full-time private room in an S&M "fringe club"? I hate that the author made unprotected sex with a guy who regularly practices S&M with MANY different women acceptable. And the female lead knows it! I give it one star just for this.
I hate to be this harsh, but Lora Leigh, her editor, and the publishing house should be ashamed of themselves! I am sorry Ms. Leigh, for my harsh, but necessary criticism, but these issues should never be taken lightly.
Book Review: Pretty Good Summary: 4 Stars
Reading these for entertainment - not so much worried about the reality of when/when this team is working 'cases'.
Have not read the first story about Reno yet. I read this book first and have since purchased the next 4 books - some labeled as Seals and some as Elite Ops.
I did like most of the interaction between Clint and Morganna. However as a negative, the waiting 10 years to hook up was a bummer. Could have set this story at least five years earlier (oh well, a minor point).
I also liked that Morganna had a strong confidence level and is working and training in law enforcement. As a negative, towards the end of hte book she is starting to get wishy washy about maybe she isn't cut out for the risker assignments.
344 pages.
Book Review: I Love This Book!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This was a great book. I have been waiting for Clint and Morganna's story since I read Reno's and Raven's. I am really glad that this book was longer than the last one. I loved the previous book but it would have been alot better if it had been longer.
Clint has been denying his feelings for Morganna since she was a teenager. Now she's all grown up and has a dangerous job puting criminals away. When Clint finds out what she's been doing the last few years he's furious and has her pulled off the investigation. They lock heads and things heat up as Clint can't deny the passion he has for Morganna.
I can't wait to read more of the Seals books and I hope there will be alot of them. I'm already anticipating Kel, Mace, and Ian's stories.
Book Review: Voracious Reader Summary: 4 Stars
Initally this book was hard for me to really get into. Which is unsual for me with her books. I like the story line (Seals) and the BDSM/Erotica that I have come to expect from Lora. I think reading the other reviews that there were some discrepancies but when reading the story I am not trying to pick the book apart. I like the hero more than the herione. They have known and loved each other since childhood. He is the hard bodied sexy Seal and she the smart mouth rebellious girl interest. I think the struggle Clint went through was too long and I had to read portions regarding the drug cartel twice to understand who was who. I already have book three and will get four when it comes out. I have been a fan of here work since the Bound Hearts series.
