Book Review: Excellent paranormal romance series
Summary: 5 Stars
The Black Dagger Brotherhood series is one that helped get me hooked on the paranormal genre. It's one of the best ones out there. JR Ward does a great job with world building, character creation and she is not afraid to hit on tough subjects (eg, rape, being gay.) One of her leading characters is also disabled (blind) but you still see him living a full life, finding love and leading his people. Her writing and dialogue are excellent and really pull you in. The books are very hard to put down.
Only thing I'd improve on is less time spent from the lessors' point of view. I find those sections dragging, and tend to just skim over them.
I loved all of the books except for Lover Enshrined. I just didn't get into Phury's story the way I did all of the others.
