Book Review: THIS BOOK WAS EXCELLENT!!!!!

I when I first read about California Diaries in the back of Baby-Sitters Club books I didn't know what to think of it. So when I went to the bookstore last summer I got both Dawn and Sunny. When I got home, I couldn't but Dawn down. I was shocked at first because I know from Baby-Sitters Club and I always thought of her as what Baby-sitters made her out to be. But know I that she not all of that. I love the way Dawn writes in her diary. This is a big step from the Baby-Sitters Club. This is a great book for Young Adults.Book Review: A must read series!

I have read almost all the books in the series. And I think every teenager would relate to at least one of these characters. The author takes you from a problem of feeling not good enough to becoming anorexic, and people you love the most dying from a diese, even trouble with a boyfriend etc.. If you do not think a book could relate to you than you have not look enough. Or if you just like snooping on other peoples private stuff, you would also enjoy these books. (Even though the charaters are fictional.)Book Review: WOW!

I'm familliar with the cds I enjoy reading all of these books but from the moment I picked up this book I couldn't put it down. now I LOVE! the series even more after reading the Sunny + Maggie serries but back to the book, it kept me on the edge of my seat during the whole book the only part that I didn't really like were the parts with Jill in it she annoyed me sooo much, she's the BIGGEST baby who can't keep secrets. I haven't read the the 2nd or 3rd dawn books but I look forward to reading them.Book Review: I couldn't stop reading it!!!

In my own opinion this book was by far the best one of the series. Though Dawn is not my favorite character she had alot to say. I really couldn't put this book down. It's funny and it's almost as though this book could be a real true story. I like to to read books with characters around my age. I really do recommand this book (well the whole series) .... California Diaries is a very enjoyable series. ....This book has nothing to hide and it is as if we were reading someone's own journal.Book Review: This is a very good book!

"California Diaries: #1 Dawn" is very good. I like that it is in the form of a diary. Instead of just telling what happens, you get to read about it from Dawn's point of view, with her own thoughts and ideas. I originally got this book for a friend. I read it before I gave it to my friend, but didn't think I'd like it. To my surprise, it was really good. I ordered #2 Sunny and can't wait to read it. If you liked Babysitters Club, you'll love California Diaries!
