Book Reviews of Dawn (California Diaries, No. 1)

Book Review: 1 Stars

The character Dawn was pathetic and the fact she was suprised that there was drinking and smoking at party is plain out stupid. Teens DO smoke, drink, do drugs, and have sex. So get over it. The author doesn't even have the charaters cus. In fact all the characters complained and were extremly immature and it was easy to tell that the author is out of touch with what goes on in the world today and the music they listin to? Come on!!

Book Review: The best Calif Diary so far!
Summary: 5 Stars

I first read this when I was dealing with a lot of changes. I could identify with Dawn. However, I feel like they should not have been such snobs towards Jill. I had a friend who was like Jill, only worse, except this friend turned out to be a jerk and so I stopped the friendship. Jill seems like a nice girl and I think Ann shoul write a diary for her, and that will help people to know how the other Jills are feeling inside.

Book Review: Dawn is such a realistic book!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was so realistic! A lot more then any BSC book I've read. This is mostly all about friendship....which I have a lot of trouble with. I love these books because they seem more grown-up then BSC. THey have more serious problems. More REAL problems that normal people have. That's why I love them so much. I like how Sunny got drunk. Teenagers now drink a lot, and I'm glad Ann Martin wasn't afraid to write that.

Book Review: Dawn,Not Quite So Perfect
Summary: 5 Stars

I really liked this book.It rocked. It is Dawn from the BSC,but she isn't perfectly inoscent. She learms a lot of life lessons like not all friendships last forever and as doors shut more open.Transulated, you can lose a friend but that doesn't mean you can't gain more.Through a lot of changes you get to a interesting finish.Dawn runs into a lot of big suprises. Also baby-sitting is not a big thing for her anymore

Book Review: Dawn Schafer meets Ducky & Amalia

In this book, Dawn Schafer expresses her feeling about herself and her friends. She and Jill Henderson, her former friend, decide to not be friends when a party comes between them. As Dawn goes on, she meets Ducky McCrae & Amalia Vargas. And as the move forward into all their adventures together, they stumble into terrible mistakes and funny momments.
