Book Reviews of Devil May Cry (Dark-Hunter, Book 11)Book Review: Dark(Dream)-Hunter Series is my favorite read. Summary: 5 Stars
I am so addicted to Sherrilyn Kenyon's writings. My only complaint is the published date was April 1, 2008, after Dream Chaser's date in February, 2008. Shame on the publishers. I was so confused about Kate in Dream Chaser.
Anyway, this book was so surprising and very unpredictable. Since I don't like spoilers, I won't go into details but I do hope there is a followup on this storyline with Kate and Sin. I suggest her new ability with all her other abilities surprising the Dark-Hunters and the other night stalkers, Stryker, etc. And the bundle, what will it become?
Thank you Sherrilyn for your talent to write so I can become lost in the Dark(Dream)-Hunter universe. I love it!
Book Review: Best one in years Summary: 5 Stars
Yeah,OK. I understand these characters are supposed to be immortal and everybody is more or less the same age. Still, I was taken aback when the heroine discovered that the hero's wife had an affair with her grandfather. Guess that's the difference in knowing something and actually understanding it.
This was a favorite for me at least partially because Ash & Simi played prominent roles. Artemis, too; although I get weary of the gods and goddesses. I think we were getting pumped with background to prepare us for the next book,"Acheron". Here's hoping it lives up to all the preliminary hype. Whether it does or not, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and getting to know Ash's other daughter.
Book Review: interesting yet predictable Summary: 5 Stars
I am an avid reader of the Dark-Hunter novels and actually this was my first one, I just so happened to purchase it when I was looking for something interesting in the clearance bin. I like the book instantly and the style of writing which made me purchase the rest of the novels. I have to say most of the other novels are much more action packed and interesting but the romance is getting to be the same; boy meets girls, boy sleeps with girl, they fight a big danger, save the world, and live happily ever after, the only bright side to this is the pending showdown that will come with Nick. I will still read the novels and hopefully they will get better.
Book Review: Entertaining Summary: 5 Stars
Sin, an ex-Fertility Sumerian God turned Vegas casino owner, and Kat, the daughter Greek goddess Artemis come together under the strangest of circumstances. Kat has agreed to kill him. Before accomplishing this mission she is side-tracked by the Sin's role in preventing the invasion of the human world by the Dimme (superdemons). The falling in love at the end is predictable but the journey to this destination is packed with unexpected twists and turns and this makes for a very entertaining read. This book has restored my faith in Sherrilyn Kenyon. Can't wait to see what happens next with this family (Kat, Sin, Ash & Artemis).
Book Review: Loved it!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Even the Devil May Cry - best title of her books. I loved this book in the series. I am a big Ash fan and so any mention of him, I'm sold! I liked the romance between Sin and Kat. There are major spoilers in this book so I wont mention the big reveal in this one. Kenyon has intertwined her stories so that they are all connected and relationships continue from book to book. I'm not sure if you could get the same appreciation of it if you hadn't read the other books in the series? I highly recommend you read them so you get the full impact of this one. 3 more books until Acheron! Can't wait!
