Book Reviews of Devil May Cry (Dark-Hunter, Book 11)Book Review: Not What I Expected! Summary: 3 Stars
I love to read Kenyon and always look forward to her books being published. However, I was very disapointed in this book. It gave many answers to questions that needed to be answered, but it was boring and didn't live up to the Kenyon reputation for excellence. If you love the Dark-Hunter series and want to continue I would suggest reading this book to learn answers about the characters and learn information that you may need to know to continue following the series. If you haven't been following the series and don't know the story line, you will be lost and feel that you have wasted your time.
Book Review: Where is Joss Whedon when you need him? =D Summary: 5 Stars
I absolutely love the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon! Sure, some are better than others, but no one, and I mean NO ONE can write the paranormal fantasy action packed love story, better than Ms. Kenyon!
What I'd like to know: where is Joss Whedon (creator of "Angel" and "Buffy The Vampire Slayer") when you need him? This would make an awesome TV series!!
"Devil May Cry" was a 5* 1-nighter for me! And I can't wait...literally, I'm counting down the days until Aug. 5th, for Acheron's story!
Ms. Kenyon - what a beautiful mind! =)
Book Review: Poor Writing and Boring!! Summary: 1 Stars
I was really looking forward to reading one of her books. I have even saved some of her books under my favorites so that when I did have the chance to read one I would be able to comment on it. Well after being sucked in with the Prologue; I was thinking it can only get better. I was sadly mistaken. It was poorly written and I only dreadfully reached up to page 10 after that I could not read any further.
I would rather get a root canal.
Don't bother wasting your money you are better off watching a movie.
Book Review: Questions answered that's about it... Summary: 3 Stars
We finally find out who exactly Kat is. I like her, she is beautiful, tough, funny and one of the very few people who can put Artemis in her place. Sin, not so much. I tried, I just couldn't fall in love with him.
Though this book is a must read in the Dark Hunter information category. It ties up a bunch of loose ends which have been hanging out there for a while. However I would advise reading this book with a bit lower expectations than we are used to in this series.
Book Review: Romantic & Funny Summary: 5 Stars
Great book. I loved Sin & Kat both. Their banter and flirting was funny with plenty of action to keep the story moving. I liked the introduction of supporting characters & new enemies that helped keep the plot interesting & new. Kat is a stand out heroine that is independent and smart, it is refreshing.
I love Kenyon's Dark Hunter series and this is one of my favorites!
