Book Review: Too Funny For Words! by A.B. From Annapolis

If you like funny TV shows you'll love this book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid,
a graphic novel by Jeff Kinney. One of Greg's problem's is he tries to accomplish new things but something bad always happens! My favorite character of the book was Manny because he always gets people in trouble and gets whatever he wants.
The characters remind me of dorks, because they do strange things and have no friends. My text-to-self connection is that I have an older brother like Manny. Also I felt left out just like one of the main characters.
I liked this book because it was funny. My favorite part of the book was when Greg scared his little brother with a fake spider. If I could change something I would change their names. A person who likes comedy, in 2nd-6th grade would love this book

It's a new school year, and Greg Heffley finds himself thrust into middle school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who are taller, meaner, and already shaving. The hazards of growing up before you're ready are uniquely revealed through words and drawings as Greg records them in his diary.
In book one of this debut series, Greg is happy to have Rowley, his sidekick, along for the ride. But when Rowley's star starts to rise, Greg tries to use his best friend's newfound popularity to his own advantage, kicking off a chain of events that will test their friendship in hilarious fashion.
Author/illustrator Jeff Kinney recalls the growing pains of school life and introduces a new kind of hero who epitomizes the challenges of being a kid.
