Book Reviews of Dilbert 2.0: 20 Years of DilbertBook Review: Search for reality Summary: 5 Stars
I am 74 years old, still working and self employed as an Engineering Consultant. This strip is as if the hubris and phoney reviews and studies are exposed and open for display to everyone. The dissapointing human condition that I have observed in all my working career and the real life values that are so important to a persons life are presented as if political ideals can be exposed as the shallow views they are. I can only hope that the ethics folowed in this strip can be continued for a very long time. Facts are sometimes dull and political ideals can make it interesting. This is emotionally satisfying but leads us to a belief in idealogies instead of truth. Is it possible to see truth as satisfying?

Book Review: Too Pretty for Your Cubicle Summary: 4 Stars
This book is truly large, and provides an excellent retrospective of the Dilbert strip. As noted in other reviews, the book is designed more for casual thumbing through--the binding and size of it make it less suited for hours of holding or reading. The CD included contains all the strips organized by year, and it itself a nice addition--pop it in your laptop and view some strips before Mordak the Preventer of Info Systems, comes by and takes it from you!
Bottom line, if you are a serious lover of Dilbert, you should get this book, but you must treat it with love and respect, and not put your coffee cup on it as you do with your other Dilbert paperback books.
Book Review: An excellent book for the well-heeled Dilbert fan Summary: 4 Stars
This book provides an insightful look into the early years of Dilbert. It's a well-made retrospective that is laid out in a thoughtful and logical manner. Once you've read this book, you'll understand the origins and development of Dilbert just as well as Scott Adams does. It also comes with a CD containing every Dilbert strip ever made (up to a certain point, of course) which I could someday conceivably use...for...something. (In other words, I don't think the CD adds much value.)
It's also quite expensive and heavy. But in my opinion it's worth the cost, not only because of the contents, but also due to the book's overall craftsmanship.
Book Review: The 1st time purchasing from Amazon, Great starting~ Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a fans of Dilbert for years. Due to not working in home town for a period time, I missed the release date of this book - Dilbert 2.0: 20 Years Of Dilbert. When I found out that was released, it was out of stocks in many shops, or in extremely high price. I searched around and finally found it @ Amazon.com, even in a special price. Great~~~ Although the delivery needs 4 weeks (predicted originally), I got it 2 weeks after placing the order. The item was in perfect condition when I received it, in fact, much better than my expectation.
Of course I enjoy the contents of this book. The services of Amazon.com is one of the best Internet shops.
Book Review: Not the collection I was hoping for Summary: 3 Stars
While I've loved Dilbert for years, I'm generally disappointed in this collection. While it was modeled after the excellent Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes complete collections, Dilbert 2.0: 20 Years of Dilbert is not a complete dead-tree edition by any means. Note the description: "Adams personally selected..."
Entire weeks of strips are excluded from the pages, and storylines are often missing strips, making them harder to follow and leaving out punchlines. The missing strips detract greatly from the collection.
I simply don't see why Dilbert 2.0 wasn't done as a two-volume collection with every strip for $150.
