Book Reviews of Divine Justice (Camel Club)

Book Review: Another heart racing novel by David Baldacci
Summary: 5 Stars

Once again David Baldacci has written a great book. Yes, it does continue with the same individuals from some of his other books who are know as the Camel Club, but even if you have not read any of his previous books you will still be able to follow the story line.

I myself was introduced to Davids Books just recently and was so enthralled that I had to run to the library and start reading from his very first book. With almost every book I found that I could not put it down.

This story had me sitting on the end of my seat wishing I could get to the end of the book sooner then later. He writes so well in fact that I became one with the book. As always he leaves me wanting to read his next book and wishing he could write just a little bit faster.

Book Review: Hopefully It's Not the End of the Camel Club
Summary: 5 Stars

You can read a summary of the book with other reviews. This is just me impressions and thoughts about the story.

I have enjoyed all the Camel Club books and though I'm glad to see Oliver Stone get some happiness, I hope it's not the end of the stories. I thought the story was interesting and it showed the dedication of all the Camel Club members to each other and in particular, Oliver.

I also found myself fascinated by the coal mining setting. Baldacci paints a very bleak picture of the coal mining life. I can only hope that he exaggerated it somewhat for the purpose of the novel.

Divine Justice continues to show Baldacci can tell a great story.

Book Review: 4th and best in the series!
Summary: 5 Stars

Baldacci truly did a wonderful job with these four books about the "Camel Club." The first book is THE CAMEL CLUB, the second, THE COLLECTORS, the third, STONE COLD, and the final one is DIVINE JUSTICE. What an amazing and wonderful cast of characters that you immediately fall in love with in THE CAMEL CLUB. Fortunately my local library had all of these books on tape, so I enjoyed them in that venue. I would hope that any avid reader of mystery would pick up these books. You'll simply love Oliver Stone (John Carr). He's one amazing man. Don't hesitate to read Baldacci and check out his website! Wonderful reading...I hope there's more to come!

Book Review: Great read. A bit less Camel Club than I would have liked though
Summary: 4 Stars

I looked forward to this one, but after re-reading the end of Stone Cold, I doubted it could be as good as that. This reminded me of another Baldacci book where the small town had what seemed like more intrigue than it could support. The sub-plot in Divine seemed like this was more a coming out party for the lone adventures of Oliver Stone than a Camel Club book. Sure the Camel Club is there to help, but the dynamic between them was never really explored like in the Collectors for example. All in all, I enjoyed reading it. I only wished it came in before my plane trip because once I pick up a Baldacci book, I finish it--this was no exception.

Book Review: A Great Read...
Summary: 4 Stars

"A Great Read"
David Baldacci draws us in to the promise of a fascinating and fast-paced storyline following the Camel Club members from the very first sentence.
Revenge, justice, and loyalty are all at stake as John Carr and friends attempt to right wrongs on a national level while also uncovering a small town's secrets and bring its citizens back from a state of lawlessness and cover-ups so they can live again without fear.

This hard to put down story has you cheering for the good guys even when they have to commit crimes to save themselves and others. Divine Justice is a satisfying and enjoyable read.
