Book Review: And the saga continues

This is the third book in the Lakeshore Chronicles series. It is the story of Greg Bellamy and Nina Romano. Greg is a divorced father of two. His son, Max, is having issues adjusting to his parent's separation and his oldest daughter Daisy is pregnant.
Daisy, Max and Greg have been with the series since the beginning. Nina has too, but only as a minor character. She had more of a role in the the second book "The Winter Lodge," but was still a supporting character.
I like Greg and was glad that he could find happiness. He was a good father and was really trying to make a go of the Inn at Willow Lake.
I never felt the chemistry between him and Nina though. They had a shared history, their paths intersected previously at key points in their lives via Camp Kioga and Avalon in general, but I never felt the chemistry in the present.
The way their story is told is it as though they were destined for each other, despite the fact that Nina is finished raising children and Greg wants Nina to butt out of his parenting. I wish more attention had been given to them in the present, not just relying on a sexual attraction and their history together to make them a couple.
Julian Gastineaux also makes an appearance in this book. Which is good, I'm hoping that he and Daisy will end up together and I guess in February I'll find out.
Daisy is by far my favorite character. I hope she continues to have stories. I also hope I will get to see where Sonnet ends up and that more attention is paid to Max now that Daisy has given birth and struck out on her own.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the others in the series.
