WOW! The best book I have ever read, by far. I love this book. I am only thirteen and I hate to read, usually it takes me a week or two to read a book but I read this book in two days. I also read I'll Be Seeing You, another good one but not as good as DDML! Everyone should read this book! Book Review: the tears wouldn't stop

You should know that i almost NEVER cry at books or movies. Not ever. But this book made me cry. It's deffinetly one of my favorite Lurlene McDanile books. And I like almost all of her books, so that's saying alot. I admit that I mostly read them for romance, but I don't mind the sickness part. I now know so much about illnesses like cf, cancer, aids, etc.
Julie and Luke are the perfect couple. They're both 17 and juniors at the same school. Julie's dad is Luke's football coach, and it's like a big happy family. Luke can't shake this flu though. He has swollen glands, and he feels icky. The anibiotics the doctor put him on don't seem to help. Just before Christmas Julie convinces him to go the the docotor again. Luke has cancer. Julie never leaves his side, and you can see how much they love each other. I think the best part is now even though Luke's a big touch football player, he's still so sweet. He always buys Julie flowers to suprise her or make up with her. When he starts to push her away, Julie knows that he's just scared, and really does need her. She sticks with him to the end.
Even though I was in sobs by the end, I loved it.

this book is absolutely heart-warming and touching. I don't think I've ever cried so hard while reading a book. Dont Die My Love was probably the best book I have ever read. I love how through all the hard things that are happening, and have happened, Julie and Luke's relationship grows even stronger than ever. This book was very inspirational, and i cried so hard throughout the whole book! I've made just about all my friends read it, and they love it too! Its soo sad about what happens at the end! And everytime i see flowers, i think of this book and want to cry. Luke was very strong. Im 16 and made my mom read this book, she cried too. She works at my school and even got it put on the summer reading list!Book Review: kids review

This was an excellent book. I really liked it a lot! It made me cry so much at the end. It was so neat how Luke was always in love with Julie. He would always bring her flowers when they got into a fight or he would just bring them over. I thought that it was sweet of Luke to plant those roses in the middle of the football field.I thought that it was really great book and YOU should read it.
