Book Review: Looking For A New Author To Read?
Summary: 4 Stars

I am known to read books quickly and then get antsy between books (authors don't write fast enough for me)... I stumbled upon this book (I haven't read his first book, but have ordered it!). It intrigued me with its writing style and the way it presented its varied characters within the story. The pace did wane here and there but overall, I was pleasantly satisfied when I reached the end of this book.

Book Review: Down River is a great read
Summary: 4 Stars

I won't review the plot since other reviews have already done so. This was the first book I read by John Hart, but as soon as I finished I ordered King of Lies. I found the story very engaging and the main character to be kind of in your face and tough, but likable, even vulnerable. I couldn't put the book down and would recommend it highly. I'm looking forwrd to other John Hart novels.

Book Review: THIS GUY IS GOOD!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

John Hart really can tell a tale! I find it hard to put his books down. If this is only his 2nd book, we are in for a literary treat. His style is up there with Grisham, only better. I highly recommend this book as a good mystery, a real page turner! I felt like I was there with the characters. He vividly describes characters and circumstances....keeps you guessing till the end!

Book Review: Down River by John Hart
Summary: 4 Stars

After reading his first book "King of Lies', I instantly became a John Hart fan. I must say that though 'Down River' was not as page turning as 'King of Lies' it is still a great book that I really enjoyed reading. It also helps that some of the scenery and State (NC) that Hart describes are familiar to me. I look forward to reading more books by John Hart.

Book Review: Tarheel tensions
Summary: 4 Stars

Hart takes us to the conflict of modern day small southern towns. Progress versus tradition. Old attitudes and passions are reignited, even if falsely. The complications of a family in freefall are well portrayed. Hart follows his award winning debut with a book and story that promises he has more excellence to come.
