Book Reviews of Elsewhere

Book Review: Fantastic Book !
Summary: 5 Stars

I picked this book up at the library and thought I would give it a try, boy am I glad I did ! Elsewhere is a sad but wonderful story at the same time. Its in young adult but im 45 and couldnt put it down . My older sister passed away almost 3 years ago and after reading this book I felt somewhat uplifted . Cant really explain it well. I intend to buy this book and share it with my 13 yr old daughter and tell all my friends about it. The author captures the feel of youth and adulthood ,life and death so well and it is incredibly well written.I cant wait to read other books by this author. All I can say is give it a try , you wont be sorry.

Book Review: Beautiful, Uplifting
Summary: 5 Stars

I just finished this book and I am speechless. It was one of the most original and beautiful books I have come across in quite a while. This abstract view of life after death and the fact that it really isn't death at all is so poetic and so hopeful. I literally finished this book and had a new frame of mind. This is one of those rare novels you come across that when you are finished you feel warmed and cozy and completely lost inside those last words. A book that you can't just help but smile because it opens your mind to the possibilities in the universe. I loved this book and I think that everyone should read it.

Book Review: Best quick read that leaves you wanting more
Summary: 5 Stars

After reading a few reviews on Amazon I decided to purchase this book. I am so glad I did. I read this in one sitting and could not stop thinking about it after I finished. I went to bed and dreamed about it!

Zevin takes this life after death subject and presents in such a way that you can't help but want to discuss it with others. You begin to think about all the possibilities of what really does happen after death.

I laughed, I cried. I was moved. READ THIS BOOK TODAY!

Book Review: Wow
Summary: 5 Stars

Exellent book, shows you how to appreciate the life(or death) that you have because you never know what will happen.
Liz age 16 ends up in elsewhere,a place like heaven that you age backwards from the age that you died at. On the way Liz meets her grandmother, can review life on earth and almost becomes obsessed with connecting with the life she thinks she is still in but realizes that she need to live her death to the fullest because she may not be back for a long time.

Book Review: Great idea!
Summary: 5 Stars

What if when you die instead of heaven there is Elsewhere? Here in Elsewhere you age backward. Liz Hall was 15 years old when she died. Instead of becoming an adult she'll grow younger and never experience adulthood. The concept of growing younger was an interesting one. I liked that after death you would still have a form of life. I liked the people that Liz met and interacted with while in Elsewhere. I loved the lessons that she learned through the book.
