this is the dog book to have , if your are looking for a dog . it will tell you just about everything you will need to know to make a good decision on the breed,size , hair length , exersize , temperment of what you choose. it is also a nice book to just browse . the pictures are wonderful.

This book is one of the best books out there. it has much info on many of the breeds, but i would like it if it had more breeds. It helps people choose their new dog very well, and i think all new dog owners should buy it as well as the older ones who are "obsessed" with dogs.Book Review: Amazing

This book is a great way to find a dog you want and what is good and bad about certain breeds. We used this guide to pick our dog a black lab and we are very happy on our choice. So far the book is correct about everything they said was good and bad about our breed.Book Review: Great book

Very nice book, very informative, or in other words - exactly what I was looking for. Very recommended. One thing though is that D. Caroline Coile likes to use a lot of words that might be a bit hard for a non-english speaker (or a not-so-good-english speaker :)Book Review: EVERYONE has enjoyed this book

My 5 year old son received this book for his birthday. That night a few adults lingering from the party spent almost an hour looking at it. And it has continued to receive that kind of rapt attention. Interesting information and great photos. Love the book.
