Book Reviews of Energy Medicine: The Scientific BasisBook Review: A remarkable overview Summary: 5 Stars
I have just received this remarkable book, skimmed it, and rate it highly already, in spite of the poor opinion Mr. Budnkik formed of it. As it states "this is a work in progress," but its value is in outlining a large number of invetigations of the field of energy and healing, too many to explore exhastively, but each chapter is accompanied by a list of references, mostly to the scientific literature to permit further study. My life experience includes the National Academy of Science, Rockefeller University, and 30 years as Executive VP of the New York Heart Association. I am neither naive, nor gullible.

Dr.Oschman has explored the scientific basis for many so-called complementary healing methods, such as Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Polarity Therapy. Book Review: Wow I always new good things were happening Summary: 5 Stars
Dr Oschman's "Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis", has put the "science" into what I have experienced.
This is a must read for all those energy healers who also like to know that it is not all in the head. I couldn't wait to read the next chapter and then the next.

Book Review: Great read! Summary: 5 Stars
This author does a great job making a very technical subject interesting and relevant. This book explains a lot of why so many patients seem to benefit from body work, acupuncture and homeopathic interventions. It's left me open-minded to using more of these interventions in my own practice.
