Book Review: An empowering book to help you take more control of yourself and your health
Summary: 5 Stars
Bottom Line: Buy it
This book is FANTASTIC. Why? Well, because it is written for those who want to take their health into a more alternative direction, but are at a loss maybe what to do. In a word, self empowerment.
It explains kinesiology, and how you can muscle test with a partner to uncover what's going on in your body (and you don't need to go to medical school).
Plus, it's loaded with energy exercises you can do. From working with magnets, to the chakras, to clearing out each organ's neurolymphatics, clearing and tracing the meridians, to spiritual exercises when you need help realigning your energy, to a dental chart and what tooth corresponds to what organ, and the list goes on. This has more exercises littered through the pages than any other book I've ever come across.
I reference this book a lot, and highly recommend it, would also recommend the Touch for Health book by Thie.
Book Review: Grateful

I am very grateful for Donna Eden's book. What many recent books have done to educate the western mind regarding the chakra system, Donna has done not only for chakras, but the acupuncture meridian system, the aura and other subtle energy systems. Unlike many other books, however, she has taken it a (very large) step beyond by creating many, many "user-friendly," easy-to-learn and fun exercises that help to strengthen and bolster the health of all of these energy systems which make up the human field. These exercises are helpful in restoring equilibrium physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I am happy to report I can make this statement from personal experience. As a psychotherapist, I am also thrilled to have unique and effective tools to offer clients who express an interest in this approach to managing stress and resolving emotional difficulties. I have to say, as an introduction, that this is the very first book that I ever review.
I am a sixty-something year old woman that loves the outdoors, the wilderness, the mind and the body, and therefore, I love learning new techniques of ways in which to make all of these elements interact.
I think that this is a very good book -or better said a textbook- that regardless your age/gender will definitely help you. It has some great techniques that I believe should be more widely practiced, not only by healers but also by everyone, for all of us are in need of some type of healing from our daily routines.
I've had some health problems in the past, and I believe that a positive attitude in one's daily life can improve that to the point of curing you, and so I continue to stay positive and learn as much as I can.
This is definitely a book that you have to read.
Book Review: Healthcare Future for Americans

I cannot recommend this book enough, especially to Americans. As we all know, Americans have created a pretty unhealthy lifestyle for themselves. Most work too much, creating too much stress that is harmful to their bodies, leaving too little time for shopping and cooking healthy foods, forcing dependence on unhealthy fast foods or convenience foods and resulting in too little opportunities for exercise, all resulting in an increase in health problems all around. Unfortunately, this is about to be complicated by 'universal healthcare' (cough, cough) and there needs to be a shift in how Americans handle their healthcare needs! Energy Medicine holds the answers! Some may argue this is all placebo effect and while this may be true, a placebo effect is still an effect & that is more than many of us will have pretty soon. The practical, teachable, and result getting information laid out in plain language makes this book a constant reference text in my work. With explainations and diagrams of the human body's subtle electromagnetic energy flow patterns Donno Eden teaches methods to access and work with these energy pathways for the purpose of balance and health. I have used them myself and verify daily the enhancement to my vitality, energy reserve, and overall wellbeing. My experience and work with clients using the techniques taught in her book have enabled me to be more effective in treating and teaching clients. Donna Eden explains how the energy flow of thoughts can be utilized in conjunction with the more mechanical techniques of energy flow manipulation.
