Book Reviews of Excuse Me!: A Little Book of MannersBook Review: Cute book with an educational and social theme Summary: 4 Stars
We've had this book for going on 2 years. It's a cute book and teaches children such valuable social skills as manners. if only all parents took such an interest in their children's manners. My son now manages to say excuse me when he burps. Reading and children... can it get any more memorable?
Book Review: Cute Book that helps toddlers with basics Summary: 4 Stars
My daughter is 2 1/2 and likes going thru each scenario in the book (e.g. you burped) and giving the appropriate response ('excuse me!'). In general, Karen Katz books are a favorite in our house. I'm rating it 4 instead of 5 because the lift flaps are somewhat flimsy - if not careful, they rip off.
Book Review: Better than expected! Summary: 5 Stars
Karen Katz's book seem simplistic at first but toddler's love them. This book really does cause thank you and excuse me to come out of your little one. The book asks if you want peas for breakfast and the response is "no, thank you," but now my daughter wants peas for breakfast?! Gotta love it!
Book Review: My son just loves this book! Summary: 5 Stars
My son loves answering the questions in this book. Whenever he burps, he says, "Jacob burped. Excuse me." When someone offers him something, he says, "No, thank you," or "Yes, please." It's just so cute!!! We love it because it's a short, easy book. Just right for our son! God bless!
Book Review: A Little Book of Manners Summary: 5 Stars
A delight for both the young child and the reader (grandmother). It is simple, involves the child through the flip-up pages, and is short enough to engage a two-year-old. It makes its points and reenforces what parents are trying to teach young children. I highly recommend this book.
