Book Reviews of Fablehaven: Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary

Book Review: Once again...
Summary: 5 Stars

...Brandon Mull has created yet another outstanding novel. I've been eagerly anticipating this book for some time now, and was not disappointed one bit. Like many others I found it hard to put down, resulting in a lot less sleep. It was worth it. I still think that Grip of the Shadow Plague is my favorite, but this is a close second. Once again there were great moral lessons, intriguing characters, great developments, incredible amounts of imaginative creatures and locations and some HUGE unexpected plot twists. If you haven't started this series yet I highly recommend that you start now. This is a series for all ages, much akin to the Harry Potter series, which it seriously rivals. Fantastic read and I can't wait until the conclusion is released.

Book Review: FH4....WOW!!!...Branndon Mull does it again!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

FH4 starts off right where FH3 left off. Brandon Mull does not waste any time getting you engulfed into the plot of the story! This series is a true masterpiece that everyone should read! I considered the 2nd book as my favorite but now after reading the ending of this book...I think FH4 is going to have to take the top spot. This book is a true nail biter all the way to the end!
Everyone needs to spread the word about Brandon Mull and Fablehaven!!!---this guy deserves it all! He really does have the Midas touch!

If you like the FABLEHAVEN series and or the writing style of Brandon Mull----try the 13th REALITY series by James Dashner....you wont be disappointed!

Book Review: Intense and wild
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the only fantasy series that has completely filled the Harry Potter void in my heart. Heck, in some ways these are superior, for Brandon Mull is a genius when it comes to this type of fantasy. Apparently this is the second-to-last book, so Mull uses this to his advantage to pick up excitement, plot, and emotional impact to great heights. More vistas are visited, more characters, more betrayals--without ever getting silly or cheesy. This story is simply a rollicking good adventure in the little-known fantastical side of our world. Solid writing, great, subtle characters, and a clear mastery of story-telling. I can't wait for the next.

Book Review: Terrific Fantasy Series
Summary: 5 Stars

Not only did I love these books--and I am a, shall we say, boomer-age adult--but every teenager I've convinced to read them has loved them, too. Every book is well-written with plenty of adventure, complex and vivid characters, and a liberal dose of humor. Upper elementary students through imaginative adults will probably enjoy them.

Though they are fantasy, the author has a wonderful ability to write situations that seem oddly possible in real life. I love the "family" aspects; no one was too perfect, but no one seemed to have no redeeming qualities whatsoever, either.

Book Review: Awesome!
Summary: 5 Stars

Mull nailed it again. It's difficult to compare this book to the rest because they were all great. The character development from Book 1 to Book 4 is really well done. Kendra and Seth have really come a long way. Seth is just awesome and I can't wait to see what he'll do next. Book 4 is the best so far and I'm looking forward to the final installment.

I loved the HP series and the Leven Thumps series but personnally I'd rank this series over either one.
