Book Review: HE SHOOTS HE SCORES!

Another installment in the Myron Bolitar series and another hit! I loved the idea that Myron was going to "suit up" again. The plot was great, it had me guessing at every step. Myson's humor is another added bonus, as is Win. Win is the perfect compliment to Myron. You just never know what he will do. I thought the last paragraph was so great! Bravo! There is nothing bad to say about this book, I just wish they were longer, I read them too fast!Book Review: Brilliant... his best in the Myron Bolitar series

Wow... that sums up this novel. I've read 3 other Myron books and 3 of his stand alones, and "Fade Away" is as good as my previous favorite of Coben, "Gone For Good" (a stand-alone). Fade Away definitely deserved the Edgar Award.It was also the wittiest of all of Coben's books that I've read. I literally laughed out loud. The fact that Coben followed this masterpiece with such an average novel "Backspin" is beyond me.

The internal conflicts of the characters are so evident and well desribed you feel as though they are real people. I love this series, and this would have to be my favorite one yet. This was my 2nd MB novel to read, and they are just flat out fun. They are just as good as Coben's other books, but they are funnier and they have a much more positive outlook. This book is a quick read yet it still has a tremendous and well thought out storyline. I especially loved the end, when it all came back to tie to Myron. Tremendous.Book Review: Loved it!

Fade Away was one of the most pleasant suprises I have come across in a while. From a wonderfully dry Myron Bolitar to a cast of rather unique compatriots Harlan Coben has created the best detective series to hit the shelves in a long while. I purchased all of his other Myron Bolitar mysteries as well. A must read.
