Book Review: Thought provoking and touching

I read this book in one sitting and found it to be both touching and thought provoking. This is a book I will think about for days and mull over the questions it asks about race, unconditional love, family and loyalty. I highly recommend it to someone looking for a story with some depth...if you like Nicholas Sparks or James Patterson's bittersweet novels then this would be a good choice for an afternoon read.Book Review: A good story with a predictable but interesting twist.

This book looks at racial issues from an interesting perspective. What if a white, well to do couple has a child with African American features? She didn't cheat, his families background is well documented for generations. Where did her brown skin and darker features come from? Many of us don't think we are racist but this is a true test. I have to admit I had a hard time putting this story down.Book Review: a very good read

I really liked this book,just the idea of a white couple giving birth to a black child I found interesting. I've read my stories,some fiction some true,of a black family of dark complexion having a child of light complexion and discovering a white ancestor as a result. So it was nice to see the story told from a different prospective.Book Review: Excellent!

Drawn to this book by the story's synopsis, I must say that I was not disappointed. While some things I was able to predict, the storyline was such that my interest was still held. It was a quick read, which is good for a person with a schedule like mine... but still substantive.Book Review: Great story!

My favorite author thought she had to use the "f" word. I have read Barbara Delinsky previously because it has always been "free" of those "street" words. I pray you don't feel you need to use that kind of language to sell your future books.
