Book Review: Perfect!

Excellent cookbook. If you like Famous Dave's food, or BBQ and Southern food in general, this is a great cookbook for you! It's got just enough recipes to give you the basics, but just enough ingredients for the basics to not be,...well,..basic.
Their bread pudding is to die for, so is the smoked salmon spread. There really are a ton of recipes in here.

Bought this for a friend for christmas because she had gone to the library to use recipes in Famous Backroads & Sidestreets recipe book. Dave Anderson has taken the time to give his insight into the history of Famous Dave's. It makes for some interesting reading, but the real gem of this book is the recipes. This book does it all. It shows what can be done with BBQ even in Minnesota. The restaurant is a slice of the south in the upper midwest and the cookbook takes you all over the country. I've been there and this is the real thing:-))
