Book Reviews of Found (Firstborn Series #3)Book Review: Have to agree with stick in the mud as well Summary: 2 Stars
This book wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't one of the best. I too found myself wishing that it would just get to the point! The story line is interesting, but it felt like it just drags you out way too long. I often found myself just skimming parts of the book that didn't seem to fit the overall plot. Don't get me wrong, it's a great series and I can't wait for its conclusion. I just felt this book wasn't on point.
Book Review: Firstborn by Karen Kingsbury - AMAZING BOOK Summary: 4 Stars
I have ordered several books from Amazon and I have been very pleased with each and everyone of them. I am an avid reader and the library does not have all the Karen Kingsbury books which I enjoy reading. Thanks to Amazon I have been able to purshase all the books that are not available to me and I have donated them back to the library so the next person will be able to enjoy them as well. Thanks AMAZON!
Book Review: No "stick in the mud" Summary: 5 Stars
I read the 1 and 2 star reviews and I think they are just being picky. Yes, her grammer is not correct some of the time and yes, some things seem kind of repetitive, but this was the most exciting book I have read by Kingsbury so far. I feel like I know the Baxter family and I feel like they are a real family or something, so I don't really mind all the repetitiveness and all. Great book, great series!
Book Review: Great Series Summary: 4 Stars
I love this series (starting with the Redemption Series). However, I think this (Firstborn) series has been dragged out a little too long. Unlike the Redemption Series that introduced a new sibling with each book, this series is a continuation of the same story. Now we have to wait until next spring for the conclusion...bummer. I love all her books and how she shows how Christ works in our lives.
Book Review: Found Summary: 5 Stars
I can't get enough of Karen Kingsbury!! This is book 3 of her Firstborn series which follow the "Redemption" series about the Baxter Family. This whole series is so real to our life right now and presents the joys, struggles, successes and failures that all Christian families face. The author is very realistic, yet Christ centered in how to deal with the everyday issues of life.
