Book Reviews of FracturedBook Review: Top-notch suspense Summary: 5 Stars
Great dialogue, interesting characters, and gripping story and details. My only (little) complaint is that the author has an occasional tendency to over-explain, breaking the tension (the worst example: she felt it necessary to explain what Quantico is). Thankfully, this tapered off after the beginning or I'd have stopped reading the book, and I'm glad I didn't miss it.
Book Review: Another great book from Karin Slaughter Summary: 5 Stars
My favorite author - she is a great story teller with strong characters. Some may find some of her subject matters disturbing but it is hard to but them down once you start reading. If you have children, especially a daughter, this one will get to you. I also highly recommend the entire Grant County series...can't wait until the next one comes out.
Book Review: Fractured Summary: 5 Stars
This book was a great read, and a much needed change in characters. Although her other books started out interesting the storyline had become too depressing to enjoy. I really enjoyed this book and the writing style. I was entertained to the point I couldn't put it down until the last page.
Book Review: Fractured Summary: 3 Stars
Nicely done murder mystery, but I won't be giving up Kathy Reich's, Martha Grimes, P.D.James, etc. any time soon.
Also the author has a childish tendency to interject anti-Northern sentinments into the story.
Really the war is over--build a bridge and ...

Book Review: Page turner Summary: 5 Stars
Never disappointing, Karin Slaughter writes a fine thriller. Her characters are the kinds of folks you might expect in the situations she creates, and they're human and believable.
FRACTURED was hard to put down, even when dinner needed to be prepared.
