In this book you read how one incident can change four peoples lives. This is a story about friendship, love and trust. Eric Jeome Dickey writes this story with class but also keeps it ghetto at the same time. Having brothers talking about each other to the sistas just hanging out in the cut. The story isnt all just fun and games though. You as the reader will not only read how the characters feel but you will feel what they feel as you go on. it has an great start middle and a spectacular ending. This a story you can get hooked on so i suggest you go out and get it.Book Review: Entertaining literary work

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in Friends and Lovers. This was an easy read and captured my attention from Chapter 1 until the end. I was impressed by the style that Mr. Dickey took in dedicating a chapter to one character's point of view. It was interesting to see how the characters each translated the same events in different ways. At the price, you can't beat this book!Book Review: Lone Star Reader

This book is well written and a very good read. I could identify with the characters and their situations. This book surprised me in that it had some unexpected twists involved. It definitely kept me interested. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is b/c I think that there are a ton of books out there about this subject, but this one is better than the others. If I could have given it 4 and a half stars I would have.
