This was an enjoyable read. I really like the characters Eric Jerome Dickey choose to use. My favorite would have to be Shelby because she didn't beat around the bush about nothing. I liked how things turned out in the end with everyone except Leonard. This book shows that true love does prevail..........Book Review: Stop Playing!

This book was not all what people hyped it up to be. I wanted a refund afterwards! The beginning of the book was okay but once I started to read into it I badly wanted it to be over already. Stop playing! I haven't read a book yet that can compete with,"The Coldest Winter Ever". Don't write a good review on a bad book next time!

I don't understand how a man could write such intimate emotions from a woman's point of view. I got this book when I was 17, after succumbing to one of those shady book club offers, and I am so glad that I chose this one out of the many books available. This book is amazing, and is a must read for any woman/ man who is looking for something very real and intimate. Eric writes this book from the point of view of several characters (male and female), which is an amazing way to narrate a story. By the end of the book, I felt like I knew all of the characters... and I definately felt like I needed to get to know TYREL a lot better!! I dreamt about him for a while ;-) ... but anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and think it's a must-read for any black male/female. Hopefully Eric's subsequent novels give me the same satisfaction. Either way I am definately going to read this book again, when life is less busy. IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT IT...GET IT!!!Book Review: This started it all!
