THE BOOK WAS FINE, I WAS UPSET, HOWEVER, WHEN I BOUGHT ONE BOOK, THE OFFER CAME UP TO PURCHSE THE SECOND ONE WITH FREE SHIPPING IF DONE WITHING THE NEXT FIVE MINUTS. I DID THIS, BUT THE BOOKS CAME SEPERATE AND I PAID SHIPPING ON BOTH. AND OF COURSE YOU HAVE NO PHONE # TO CONTACT YOU GUYS. DON'T APPRECIATE PAYING DOUBLE FOR SHIPPING. I HAVE MY PRINTED RECEIPTS WHICH SHOW THE ORDERS BEING DONE BACK TO BACK.

I purchased this book as well as everyday italian several years ago. It's true that many of her recipes are online on the foodnetwork site, however I love collecting recipe books. The foods presented here range from quick fix to longer prep times so there will always be something delicious you can make depending on your schedule. I highly recommend this book as well as to try the delicious Italian soups presented here.Book Review: Good Italian Food

Giada has provided good recipes that while they show a strong American influence are still based on Italian classics. The recipes are not difficult and you will end up with good flavors in each dish. Haven't tried them all yet but would recommend all so far. If you love Italian food and didn't have an Italian nonna to teach you, I recommend you start off with this and Giada's Everyday Pasta. I am a long-time Giada fan after watching her on FoodNetwork for several years. I connect with her recipes because they are healthy and tasty, easy-to-follow instructions, and I can be successful cooking them. I also liked her first recipe book, but prefer the print of this one because it is much easier to read. The photographer did a great job on both books...I like seeing a photo of finished prepared food.
