Book Reviews of Glorious One-Pot MealsBook Review: Enjoy the concept and recipies Summary: 5 Stars
My wife and I only need the basic recipe without leftovers so I found a Staub Cocette of the right size. For some reason the upper most layer of the pot dries out. I see three raised dimples on the lid that might be allowing the steam to escape. Check for this lid design if you decide to buy a pot. Maybe all of them are similar.
Other than the pot problems we love the concept and the dishes created from this cookbook. The flavor and texture of the food is great and I recommend this book.
Book Review: Good Bye Crock Pot ... Hello One Pot Summary: 5 Stars
Elizabeth Yarnell's Glorious One-Pot Meals is a huge welcome edition to my cook book collection. Beautifully designed, loaded with delicious and easy recipes, no one is going to want to simmer their meal in the old-fashioned crock pot where just about everything starts tasting and looking the same. Get this book for yourself and make it a gift for others.

Book Review: Wonderful Way To Cook Summary: 5 Stars
I learned about the cookbook from doing a search on "one pot meals" on the Internet. I was interested in changing the way my husband and I ate in order to reduce the amount of fat we were eating. I have lost 10 lbs. since starting the meals. My husband, who is fairly picky, loves all the meals and says that they are "seasoned just right". The variety in the cookbook does not lead to boredom either. I am an intermediate-level cook.
Book Review: Excellent Cook Book - one of my FAVORITES! Summary: 5 Stars
This cookbook is wonderful! I cook something from it almost every week. The recipes are flavorful, healthy and so simple. I love that they include a variety of vegetables, are low in fat, so flavorful, and give you many alternatives. This is such a wonderful way to cook and the possibilities are endless. It is a great way to cook especially if you do not have a lot of time. I highly recommend this cook book!
Book Review: Well-organized and easy to use. Summary: 5 Stars
Glorious has a different organization than several other cookbooks -- makes it easier to use, and helps out with being practical and flexible with using what I've got in the fridge rather than making some special shopping list for a meal or two. It's clear that all these recipes were tested by the author, but truthfully, I've never followed one to the letter and they turn out great all the same!
