Book Reviews of Go, Dog. Go! (Beginner Books)Book Review: My 3 year olds favorite book! Summary: 5 Stars
One of my favorites from my childhood, I had to get it for my three year old. We now read it nearly every night. It quickly became his favorite book. There is something very comforting about a very simple book from your past. My son can recognize a few of the words from this book already! I surprised my husband by showing how our son could "read" the first three pages of the book. He loves to sit and look at it himself and tell the story. Nice bright pictures make it fun to look at.
Book Review: Watch these dogs go! Summary: 3 Stars
Dogs, dogs and more dogs! If you love dogs, you'll love this book. There are big dogs, little dogs, green and blue dogs! It's also a great book for young kids to learn their opposites. I can remember my mom reading me this book when I was little. Then when I started to learn how to read i would practice reading it to my very own dog and as I got better I would read it to everyone who would listen. This book is just a fun book to read and I think everyone should have the chance to read it.
Book Review: Go Dogs Go! Book Review Summary: 5 Stars
What do you get when you mix dogs with cars and cars with dogs? You get a book called Go Dogs Go!, by Philip D. Eastman. This delightful tale is full of dogs running, driving, walking, swimming and even skiing. I relish this book because it is real humdinger! I feel that Go Dogs Go! is a first-class read for first graders. In conclusion, I think that Go Dogs Go! is wonderful tail...I mean tale. I recommend that you read Go Dogs Go!, you will enjoy it!
Book Review: Umm... Summary: 5 Stars
This book is horrible! It isn't realistic at all! Dogs can't talk and drive cars!Just kidding! This was and still is one of my favorite children's books. I learned to read, reading this book and others like it. I also learned to draw cars. Unlike the dog in the book, I actually did like the lady dog's hat! One of the (lesser) reasons I couldn't wait to have children, was so that I could fill up my bookshelf with this and other cherished childhood classics.
Book Review: kids love it Summary: 5 Stars
This book is timeless. I loved it as a child and I love it as an adult. The pictures are great for kids. As an adult, I love the pictures as much as my son. The text is simple, but in a style that is enticing to young children, and allows kids to recite the story aloud after a few readings. And for the few adult critics who say the text is not sophisticated enough for them but their kids love it, - gimme a break - it's a CHILDREN' book for crying out loud.
