Book Review: God Gave Us You
Summary: 4 Stars

I received this precious children's book in the mail today and just had to let you know how great it was ... pronto. This is a sweet story about a mama bear telling her baby bear a bedtime story about how God gave them a special gift ... her. What a wonderful reminder that God brings families together and gifts mommies and daddies with precious babies. The pictures by Laura J. Bryant are so sweet ... very winter wonderland.

The book is written toward telling the story of how biological children came to the family. However, Lisa has also written God Found Us You, which is geared more toward adoptive families.

This will definitely be on my list of gift books!

I received a free copy of this book from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Book Review: God Gave Us You
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great book for people that want to start teaching their children about their faith at a young age and from the very start. The polar bear parents in this book describe how each life and every child is a gift from God! I bought this book for myself to read to my daughter and also for a good friend. We like it so much that we now have a theme going with this series. After I bought her this book she then bought my daughter the book, "God Gave Us Christmas." For her daughter's baptism I bought her the book, "God Gave Us Heaven." We are both enjoying these books and being able to share our faith in God to our children through them. This is my favorite in the series and I would recommend it to anyone with young children.

God Bless!

Book Review: I'm not religious but...
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm not religious at all and I am not sure what we will do when it comes to believing in god. I think we will tell her about god and she can decide later what she wants to believe but this book is just adorable! It tells your child how important they are to you and how you would never "trade" them for any other baby. The book describes how your parents will always love you because you are were chosen just for them. I love how they talk about the excitement of the baby, getting a bigger belly during pregnancy and going to the hospital. Then at the end the little bear goes to bed happy because she knows how much her parents love her! I am going to buy "God Gave Us Two" because we are expecting another baby in a couple weeks!!

Book Review: One of the best there is!
Summary: 5 Stars

When I first asked my little one where he came from, he thought for a moment and said, "I came from QVC!" Now, that's not quite right so I read him this book and now he says that he came from God, silly! This is such a cute, cute story, how a mama bear constantly reassures her little baby bear that she loves her and that God gave her to both her and her father. Even when she asks her mother if she'd rather have a different baby and her mother says no, after asking why the mother says "because God gave us you."

Everyone is unique and wonderful in God's eyes and this book demonstrates that and of His love for us. A great, great confidence building book and a must read for every family.

Book Review: God's Creativity
Summary: 5 Stars

I recieved ' God Gave Us the World by Lisa Tawn Bergren; illustrated by Laura J. Bryant as part of the Blogging for Books program yesterday. My Daughter loves it (She's two). I love that it shows God's creativity in a way she can understand. The book is written about a polar bear family where "Little Cub" is learning about God's creativity by learning about how different bears live. A bears around the world exhibit ends up being a great jumping off point for questions and answers. My kid loves the pictures of different types of bears and loved following "Little Cub." If you have a bear lover in the family, it is a great way to introduce them to God's creativity.
