Book Review: Artistic, beautiful and accurate.

This was the first tarot deck I purchased which I truly felt in tune. I think the secret to this tarot deck specifically is that it utilizes older images and artwork to create unique tarot images, thereby giving the deck the beauty of the Renaissance. The Golden Tarot will invoke the Golden Age of Elizabeth and also some darker imagery which will satisfy any Anglophile, yet there is also images which call upon the mystical traditions of alchemy and Catholic esoterica. You may easily find yourself turning to this deck before you turn to the Rider-Waite deck purely because it is much nicer to look at. The only beef is that the corresponding book doesn't give satisfying descriptions of the cards,but most tarot readers have a small library of books on the tarot that totally make up for it.Book Review: A n amazing deck and work of art

Just recieved my deck and I am astounded at the high quality of it. An incredible buy for the price. If you're a Tarot enthusiast, an admirer of Middle Age/Renaissance Art or just love owning beautiful things you'll be glad that you have this deck, it fulfills all three. I had barely opened my package at my desk before co-workers were stopping by and asking about the cards and admiring the imagery of them. The production values of the deck are quite good as well, a nice heavy card stock with a good "feel" to the cards and the gilt edging is a wonderful touch. I can't imagine anybody purchasing this deck and being dissapointed by it.

Just wanted to give a little bit of my opinion on the Golden Tarot deck. I absolutely love this deck, it has really made a stong impression on me and I am quickly developing that strong connection to it. The readings are greatly enhanced by researching card meanings online. I felt that the booklet that explains each card was vaugue, limited, and quite frankly pretty skewed for some of the cards. I did some online research of several different sites and was able to compile my own meaning list, that I feel has given my readings so much more depth and accuracy. Anyway the cards are a bit less vibrant than I expected even after reading the reviews, but I really like the imagery, and I really feel that many of them have a deep spiritual resounance. I love them.

This was the first tarot deck that I ever bought. Each card is a beautiful collage of medieval/renaissance artwork that is done in such a way that it looks like an original painting from that time. The symbolism itself is in the spirit of the Rider-Waite deck. The little book that comes with it is very good for gaining insight into the symbols' meanings. I highly recommend this deck for anyone interested in the Tarot at any experience level. If you want the popular symbolism of the Rider-Waite deck and you feel a strong connection to artwork from the medieval/renaissance periods, then this is the deck for you. All of my readings with the deck (after the first few clumsy tries) have been very insightful and accurate to a degree I did not expect.Book Review: A Golden treasure

Everything about this deck is 5 star. I can only mirror Gita's feelings on the craftmanship and quality. And not just a pretty face this deck reads beautifully. I have a large collection and many sit on the shelf from lack of readability this deck I will USE. Kat Black's deck is true to Rider Waite interpretation and is an "Accurate Read" straight out of it's beautiful box.The golden guilding, the beautiful art work, and the truly useful little "big" book that comes packed in the sturdy lift top box is a work of art. Kat has done herself proud and so has US Games. The price is amazing. I don't think anyone could go wrong ordering this deck. I highly, highly recomend it.
It is fast becoming my favorite deck.
