Let me start by saying that I adore Mr. Ramsay. Anyone who excels and has that much passion for his "calling" is to be respected and admired. The cookbook couldnt be easier to follow. The DVD that is included is especially appreciated. I was reluctant to purchase this cookbook because I thought that someone of Mr. Ramsays stature -his recipes would be very difficult. Quite the contrary. 5 starts from me !!!Book Review: Simply the best

I'm Italian, I love to cook.... I also love cook book, I have lots of them, but I usually don't find any recipe that attract me. Well, this is different.... First at all it will inspir you, you want to cook after looking at his book. I found a lot od recipe that I know I'll try from this book. So far I only tried the pizza. I love this book. The recipes are great. They are fast and easy. Cooking for my family can be frustrating they are very picky and trying new recipes can be difficult. My first recipe was the vegetable soup. I did substitute white beans for the lima beans. The taste was fantastic. My family loved it. Wow, they liked the vegetables.I highly recommend this book.Book Review: great ideas!

Besides the amazing recipes presented in this book, all the techniques and reasoning behind them are well explained which has produced wonderful changes in everything i now cook. i now understand so much more about the cooking process and i can't wait to get more of his books! so creative and full of passion, it really runs off into your own kitchen :)Book Review: Dust off grasndma's old cook books

Sorry to have to say this, but, not impressed. The price was over the edge & the DVD, well, come on; scrambled eggs? If grandma has no old cook books ( mine is long gone) check out garage sales.
