Book Review: Don't waste your money!

I recently purchased Barron's "Grammar The Easy Way" to brush up on my English grammar. Based on the 5-star reviews, it looked like the perfect book to meet my needs. I quit reading after 12 pages. The organization, examples, and explanations are, in my opinion, very poor. How this book got 5 stars is beyond me. The reviews had to be submitted by the author, his friends, Barron's, or someone they bribed. Don't waste your money on this book.
Summary of Grammar the Easy Way (Barron's Easy Way)
Written primarily for high school seniors and college freshmen, this all-new Easy Way book points out the simple logic that underlies correct grammar and clear expression. The author covers all basics, including parts of speech, sentence types and correct sentence construction, parallel structure, methods of avoiding misplaced and dangling modifiers, agreement of subject and verb, agreement of pronoun and antecedent, and many other basic grammar topics. The book is filled with examples of the right and wrong way to construct sentences, and is supplemented with short quizzes that come with answers.
