Book Reviews of Grape CureBook Review: WHATEVER, MR. Barrett... Summary: 5 Stars
This book/diet DEFINITELY has merit. I say this from personal experience. I know, I know...you are just some allopathic "doctor" who loves to collect money for prescribing drugs. The m and the d behind your name doesn't mean you always know what you are talking about. The word "doctor" USED to mean "teacher". Boy, have things changed. Did this book take away some of your insurance money? Did it actually keep some of your patients from coming to see you? That's a shame, huh? Oh, darn...that Mercedes payment is just going to have to come from sending someone to collections for not paying their co-pay.
Book Review: A Senseless Method Summary: 1 Stars
The so-called "Grape Cure"was popularized about 70 years ago by the author who claimed that she cured herself of what she assumed was cancer through fasting and eating nothing but grapes. (She did not have a bopsy, so it is impossible to be certain of her diagnosis.) There is no scientific evidence that the diet has any value. Even worse, the diet it advises is deficient in several important nutrients and can cause constipation, diarrhea, cramps, and weight loss -- all of which are undesirable for cancer patients. This is a book worth ignoring. Stephen Barrett, M.D. Quackwatch.com
Book Review: Another One of God's Natural Cures Summary: 5 Stars
I believe Grapes is another one of God's great healing foods. I read the book many years ago and have always thought about what I read. Now once again the book is making a come back. Drugs don't heal, only alleviate symptoms. I know you need drugs in emergencies, but then study what's natural and try to heal your body that way. I believe grapes can clean out the toxins inside the body, but you must do a wholistic program for the grapes to be effective. I say don't close your ears to the benefits of Grape Juice and just start incorporating it in your diet.
Book Review: Worth looking into... Summary: 4 Stars
I read this book back in '96 and it seemed so promising. I lent it to a supervisor who had breast cancer, and she never returned it. Every time that I have consumed considerable amts of concord grapes, I have very foul bowel movements which I suspect the magnesium in the grapes help move the bowels along better than not taking anything at all for constipation. I don't know if this will cure cancer, but it may assist in helping someone feel better.
Book Review: Nature's cancer cure.... Summary: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved and believed this woman. I tried the grape cure just as a cleansing and it blew me away. I have never felt healthier. People are too much into traditional medicine. I really believe that this diet could cure cancer. What happened to me was astounding. It totally cleaned my intestines and colon.
