Thank you Dr Buchholz!

I did an online search for "migraine and brain white spots" and found this great book.

My beautiful 19 year old daughter, a freshman in college experienced a few migraines in high school, they were manageable. But a couple months into college, they pretty much became daily events. Yes, they probably increased in frequency and intensity due to college stress, dorm food, and lack of sleep...but to top it off, she had a brain MRI a few months ago as a follow up from previous circumstances. The mri indicated "new white spots", which was explained to us that it could mean lupus, MS, maybe even brain tumor. Hearing that scary news, her headaches became unbearable. Hence, the online search and Dr B's book.

Following his 123 process, her headaches have decreased immensely. She quit her "quick fixes" cold turkey, adjusted her diet, and takes a low dose of a migraine preventive medication. She is now enjoying being a college kid!

Besides the great migraine help, Dr Buchholz also gives insight about migraine and how it could be confused with other diseases. Who knows what the future will bring, but we appreciated the comprehensive explanations presented in a very clear and understandable format.

I can't ignore tests results, I can't ignore symptoms, but thanks to 123, my daughter and I have a better understanding of migraine causes, and relief. And, when talking with doctors about future mri results, we now feel more grounded and educated as we take care!
