Book Review: THE BLAND LEADING THE BLAND

This is the first time I have ever gone to the trouble to review any product online. After purchasing this cookbook based on numerous positive reviews, I got it for me and my daughter. This is the "bland leading the bland." I made a half-dozen of the best-sounding dishes, and nothing had much flavor. Even after doubling the spices (or even raiding my cabinet to see what I could add before it hit the plate) nothing stands out as a recipe I enjoy enough to ever make again, let alone serve to friends. The best thing about this cookbook is that the small portions give you less to have to throw down the drain.
