Book Reviews of High NoonBook Review: Took Too Long To Finish Summary: 2 Stars
I started this book last winter, and read some of it, then put it away as I just could not get into it! I just finished, and agree that the police terminology is hard to follow. The story jumps around too much - would not even make a good Lifetime movie. It is hard to believe that this is a Nora Roberts Novel.
Book Review: Not her best work Summary: 3 Stars
I have read all of Roberts' books, including her Robb books. I think this is the only one I didn't like. It just didn't click for me. The plot was okay, but something just wasn't right. I'm not sure if it was the characters or the way the story developed, but this was one Roberts book could have lived without.
Book Review: High Noon Summary: 5 Stars
I really liked the book. I bought the book on tape and Susan Erikson does a fabulous job as the reader. I'm a huge J.D. Robb fan and this had a similar "feel" to it.
Book Review: Roberts Never Fails the Reader Summary: 5 Stars
High Noon was a thoroughly enjoying novel. The characters were well developed and likeable. The plot twists were entertaining. A great read for the summer.
Book Review: Wow! Summary: 5 Stars
This was the best novel, even the best Nora Roberts novel I've read in YEARS!
And I love Nora Roberts!
