Book Reviews of Holy Smokes (Aisling Grey, Guardian, Book 4)

Book Review: Finally! A series that does not bore ....
Summary: 5 Stars

or disappoint, or die at book three. The flow of the book was fast, and tied in with all the other books in the series. THANK GOD. Ms. MacAlister can end the series here, and I am a happy camper. No silly characters "thrown in" to fill space. No present characters turning into something that is ridiculous to read, and we, as readers would know it is just fill. Thanks for a fantastic series.

Book Review: Smokie, is right.
Summary: 4 Stars

I adore Katie Macalister, this is going to sway my opinion. However, a series so finely written, ended on a sour note. This book wasn't bad, don't get me wrong, it was quite good. However the three previous books where literally on fire they were so hot, while this one sort of petered out... I dont know if there will be a fifth, if there is I hope it will be a bit better.

Book Review: Holy Smokes she does it again!
Summary: 5 Stars

Well for me she struck again! Kate MacAlister did a great job with the latest Aisling Grey novel! She adds the same great humor and sense of ridiculous. The interaction between Aisling and the Demon lord had me in stitches, only MacAlister could make being a demon lord seem this much fun and adding the new characters makes me want for the next book!

Book Review: Meh
Summary: 2 Stars

I was extremely disappointed in this book. I usually read the Aisling books fairly quickly, but this one seemed to drag on forever. The story seemed too chaotic with no direction, and yet it still seemed boring. This was quite the letdown, and makes me worry about any future installments.

Book Review: The 4th Aisling Grey
Summary: 3 Stars

In some ways it wasn't as fun as the other books, but it was a more tightly done plot, so it balanced fine. Don't read it unless you have read the other three, as you won't understand much. But, you'll enjoy the continuing exploits of Aisling and Jim if you like the series.
