Book Review: THIS VERSION IS ABRIDGED!!

I will have to go get my son the large version of this book before I'll know exactly how many pages have been omitted. There are at least two pages missing, and this is reason enough to AVOID this board book and get the larger version.
The two pages that are missing: "ALL TALL - We all are tall" and "ALL SMALL - We all are small". You will notice (in the full version)that the characters introduced on these two pages continue on to the next two pages playing BALL on a WALL. In this truncated version of the book, the wall is their only appearance.
PASS on this edition, or you will not get the full text and images your child should be enjoying in their entirety.

I ordered several of these thinking I was getting a great deal. SO disappointed when they came as TINY, ABRIDGED versions of the real Dr. Seuss stories. These should be labeled better! I shouldn't have to sort through 100 reviews to realized they're not what they appear to be. We bought 4, paying almost $20 plus shipping, but only got $9 back after paying return shipping costs. Biggest rip-off ever! If I had wanted books to put in my diaper bag- these would have been great. But as it is, I just feel swindled. Amazon- PLEASE clearly indicate that these are not the original Dr. Seuss books!Book Review: My 4 mo old's favorite book!

At least I think it is. This was one of her first books. I bought it when she was 2 mo, and she loves books already. I remember one time, after I had finished reading it to her, I put it down, and she started crying. I quickly picked it back up and began reading it to her again, and she quieted down. She loves to stare at the simple pictures. She actually takes the time to look at the drawings on each page as if she understood what I was reading. This lead me to buy several more Dr. Seuss board books.Book Review: Great for very young children

My 12 month old's favorite book is "The Foot Book" by Dr. Seuss. So I bought her several other Dr. Seuss books for her birthday. She really likes this book. The other Dr. Seuss books that I purchased are a little long and wordy for her for right now, but "Hop on Pop" is perfect for this stage-and it's nice that it comes in board book form.Book Review: Smaller than the others...

Although a true Dr. Seuss staple, this book is much smaller than the standard Dr. Seuss books. I also found that the "flow" as characterized in most of Dr. Seuss's stories and rhyming is not as smooth. We had also purchased "Are you my Mom?" and wanted to get this "Hop on Pop" for Dad. Couldn't rate this higher than average.
