Book Reviews of Hornady Reloading Handbook 7th EditionBook Review: Hornady Review Summary: 5 Stars
I have been reloading for 2 years useing older manuals. I have always heard that this is the one to have. So I did it. I should got this first before I bought any reloading equipment. Great info on all kinds items in regard to reloading. All of the balistics, parts and gear have to do with Hornady but that should be expected.
It also has the millitary rifles that I collect for reloading. Get it you will not be disappointed!!
Book Review: Reloading for beginners and pros..... Summary: 4 Stars
I haven't finished reading the entire book, however, the portions I have read have been very informative, easy to understand and fit for the beginner as well as the pro. I bought this with no experience in reloading to help determine if it is something I want to do. Although I am still on the fence about delving into the world of reloading, I'm sure this book is going to help me make up my mind.
Book Review: Lacks data Summary: 3 Stars
The book is organized nicely. The formatting and color in the reloading tables is pleasant to look at and use. The technical content is a bit thin at the beginning of the book. The lack of pressure data for each load is a big deficiency, as a result the data has much less value for me. I'm not sure I will actually use any load data from this book.
Book Review: One of my favorites Summary: 5 Stars
I currently own 4 reloading manuals and this one is right up near the top of my list. The reloading instructions are very detailed and informative and Hornady offers a large selection of bullets in many weights for a wide variety of calibers. This book was my favorite until my recent purchase of the Lyman #49 manual. But this book is still up there as one of the best.
Book Review: Hornady Reloading Handbook Summary: 5 Stars
Like most of you I own a big handful of reloading books. They all are good. This one is my favorite. He seems to have nailed appropriate loads with components that are availeble. Several of the books do this. I like Hornady's writing style and the size and quality of the book also.
