Book Review: A MUST for trying bedtimes! Great book!
Summary: 5 Stars
We received this as a gift and my children (2 and 3) have adopted this as their new favorite bedtime book. Bedtime is a battle and this has really helped. We now go to bed like the dinosaurs in our book.
It is well written and has beautiful illustrations. I especially love that each dinosaur on each page has their name. My boys LOVE dinosaurs and are very inquisitive about what type of dinosaur each was.
We have a few more from this series and I am yet to be anything but pleased!
Book Review: My son's ALL-TIME favorite

I was a little disappointed to learn that this book didn't come as a board book, because my son can be a little rough with turning the pages. However, the illustrations are beautiful, so I understand why it is only available in hardcover. That being said, my 19-month old has actually learned to be GENTLE in turning the pages with this one, and it is a story that he wants to hear every night without fail. Fortunately, it is one book I don't mind reading over and over and over and over and over . . .Book Review: DINO MITE!!!

Book Review: Dinosaurs

The book uses questions during the first part of the book to tell the story. The picture vividly portray the questions. The story plays on people fears of dinosaurs. For example, one image has a dinosaur roaring. Yet, the book has dinosaurs doing the things that many kids do when they go to bed such as pouting, throwing teddy bears around, and having a piggy back rides. Yet, in the end they become sweet pussy cats, just like most kids before they go to bed.Book Review: Wish all the books were big!

We absolutely love Yolen and Teague's 'Dinosaur' books. The text is fun and rhythmic and the pictures are just incredible. My son is eight years old and loves these books, just now when he came in as I was on the computer he pointed to the books and said "thanks!!!". We have only one comment. Please, please, please, make all of them available in large book editions. The board books are simply too small to appreciate the amazing detail in the illustrations.
