Book Reviews of How to Boil WaterBook Review: No more McChickens for me! Summary: 5 Stars
This book has changed my life in ways you can't imagine. My diet used to consist of McChickens and McDoubles, but those days are over. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, this book will make you a winner. LOL! That rhymed. Take it from a college junior, you can stop eating that crap and throwing your money down the drain. I've recommend this book to all my buddies and I haven't heard any complaints. You will enjoy this book and most of all girls will be impressed by your abilities in the kitchen. ::wink, wink::
Book Review: Good book if you know your ingredients! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this book because I am absolutely and totally clueless in the kitchen. I do love that this book goes over the basics, including what pans you need, etc. The recipes are great too. However I don't like how it doesn't describe what the dish is..you can guess from the ingredients. Also, I considering I don't cook, I have no idea what half the ingredients are, so when I go to the store I'm going to be wandering around trying to figure it out. Doesn't work to well when you have a 18 month old.
Book Review: Amazing book! Summary: 5 Stars
I got this book as a wedding gift 4 years ago, and I still love it! It has some of the best recipes in there!! Some of them are definitely not for those on a diet, but still they are absolutely delicious. Plus very informative, giving you different ways to cut veggies or fruit, parts of meat that come from an animal, just everything! Even if you're a brilliant chef, this is still a good book. I've recommended it to many many friends. It's a great great book and you will not be disappointed!
Book Review: Best Cookbook in the Entire World Summary: 5 Stars
This honestly is the best cookbook in the world. It is great! It's simple and easy, and every recipe I've tried is delicious. You can get the ingredients at any grocery store, if you don't already have it at home! It's not like some recipe books that ask you for ingredients you've never heard of, like in a different language! It's seriously a great book, and the photos, and notes help a LOT! Everyone loves my cooking when I cook from out of here! Please get it, it's truely awesome!
Book Review: Perfect for beginners Summary: 5 Stars
I was one of those people who didn't know how to scramble eggs, or even how to chop a vegetable. This book does a fabulous job of breaking all aspects of cooking down. It shows examples of common kitchen tools and what they are used for, how to store your food and even how to chop/dice/cook it up. It was basic enough to follow with little to no knowledge of cooking, and it never once felt condescending. Highly recommended for teens out on their own, or closet non-cooks like myself.
