Paul is truly an amazing individual, he is an althete, leader, lecturer, and holistic health expert that walks the talk which is rare these days...
How To Eat Move And Be Healthy is a testament to his 20 some years of dedicated applied knowledge and 5 master's degrees worth of study! I would highly recommend this book as a gift that keeps giving and the first giant step towards a long life of health and vitality. This book is taliored to you as an individual, so use it a a compass to find what works for you not everyone one else! "one man's food is another man's posion"
Book Review: fantastic - a light bulb went on Summary: 5 Stars
Let me first say that much of the information is definitely contained elsewhere, and much of it I felt I already "knew". The author though presents the information in a logically consistent holistic view of one's health; and thereby chances the paradigm by which we view our bodies.
It has inspired me to change my food intake and my lifestyle - and that highlights the true value of the book. It doesn't just contain information, but presents it in a manner in which I could process and internalize it.
I heartily recommend this book.
Book Review: Finally a true health and fitness book!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best Health book I've ever read and I've read a ton of fitness books. A must have if you want to learn how to eat, move and be healthy. Paul Chek is amazing and I learned so much from this book. Every part of health is covered in this book like diet, exercise, digestion, sleep, stress and more and more. Paul Chek holds nothing back and reveals all his secrets on how to eat, move and be healthy for you! My favorite part is when the book talks about how the hormones respond to a correct sleep wake cycle.
Book Review: eye opening Summary: 5 Stars
This book will be almost impossible for the majority of society to swallow but if you are open to changing your lifestyle and want to be a healthy person, these methods will work. I do not feel that an all organic diet is possible for a lot of people or even necessary. But the quality of food we eat is very important and I think he sets the stage to prove to everyone how important our diet is in our well-being. If you can follow this book and take half of it to heart, it will add quality years to your life.
Book Review: disappointing Summary: 2 Stars
I was disappointed to see how much of the book is dedicated to exercises. There is no doubt as to the importance of exercising and stretching, but over one third of the book focuses on them, with written instructions to accompany the diagrams. The tests at the beginning were interesting, but not very enlightening. The emphasis on organic foods stood out the most, but i think for most people, it's a hard sell. Since i already eat organically, i had little use for that section. I plan to return this book.
