Book Review: A wonderful book

I just love this book. I never really believed in hypnosis (although I like the thought that something like that might actually work), but this book and the CD really do something. Maybe it's not the hypnosis but just the approach to people's habits. I have recommended this book many times. I have not lost weight - however, I think I might lose weight if I had tried harder. It is quite hard to get into the habits he describes, but it is just wonderful when you start getting there. As I said, I did not lose weight, but this book gave me something else: it halped me be happy with myself. I have been struggling with an eating disorder for a long time, but after I read this book, it was just... gone. I realized that I never really knew when it was "right" to eat. I learned that from this book. Due to a lot of trouble and stress in my life I could not keep the good habits I had (partially) acquired, but whenever I felt that I was slipping into my bad habits again, I read the book one more time, maybe listened to the CD, and it immediately stopped. I also learned to love myself again and be more content with my appearance. I started to feel that it wasn't that important anymore to lose weight (I'm not overweight, but my eating disorder made me want to lose weight anyway and I was shopping around for weight loss books all the time). Maybe that is a danger, that you don't want to lose weight anymore...
But anyway, I can really recommend this book. Even if you don't lose weight, your life will definitely be happier. But be prepared to work on yourself. This book is making the right approach by asking you to question your habits; it is not telling you what to eat and what not to eat. I saw people give up because they felt it was too difficult for them to change their habits. But I am convinced that this is the right approach. It's just a little more work. But it will make you feel good.
