Book Reviews of I Kissed the Baby!Book Review: Oh, this is a good book! Summary: 1 Stars
I received this as a baby gift for my youngest daughter who is now 4 months. It has eight two page layouts with alternating black and white graphics (one layout has a white background with black pictures, the next a black background with white pictures) at the end you meet the baby who is a yellow duckling. My daughter will stare at this book until someone reads it to her and she loves the duckling. It has engaging singsong repetitious dialouge that my daughter loves, and the book is just long enough for a baby's attention span, if it's too short, start over and read it again! They'll love it!!
Book Review: Great Book for newborns! Summary: 5 Stars
My 4 month old granddaughter already has a favorite book and it is called I Kissed The Baby. She really responds to this book and looks right at the illustrations. Her little arms and legs really get going and she gets very excited. She is four months old and I read her this book everytime I see her (as well as others), but this is the one she seems to love. Now she tries to reach for the pages and wants to touch. It is a wonderful book and will be my gift for any baby shower I go to in the future. Congratulations to Mary Murphy.
Book Review: My daughter's favorite book Summary: 5 Stars
A friend gave us this book when my daughter was newborn. She loved it because of the bold contrasted pictures when her vision wasn't that clear. Now that she is 6 months old, she loves it every night before bedtime. I tickle her on the tickling pages and kiss her when the duck kisses its baby. She anticipates each page and giggles out loud while touching the animals. She carefully stares at each page. It is by far our favorite book for her, and I intend to give it to all my close friends who have new children on the way.
Book Review: Great book! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the first book my 3 month old twin boys responded to. The eye-catching black and white illustrations had them staring and smiling and even cooing! The text is simple and makes it easy to interact with your child (I kissed the baby, I tickled the baby, etc.). Highly recommended for your infant or toddler!
Book Review: A great book! Summary: 5 Stars
We first checked this book out from the library when my daughter was 18 months old. It became an immediate favorite of hers and she would anticipate each action of the characters. We purchased it for a family who had a new baby...thought it would help the older sibling celebrate the addition to the family.
