Book Review: Better than the first

I enjoyed this book more than the first. The majority of the story takes place inside the story of Inkspell. I could hardly stand to put the book down. It has a lot of action and adventure. It also has love, but not so much that it takes away from the story. Also, with the way it ended, I really can't wait for Inkdeath, although I will be sad to see the story end.Book Review: Wonderfull

I am deep into the third book of this trilogy and loving every minute of it. I will be so sad to leave Finoglio, Mo, Meggie et al. Couldn't put down any of the three. Inkheart has grown up. Inkspell is a much more compelling fantasy than its predecessor. Inkspell entices its readers - not only the young - with a complex world, finely drawn characters and interwoven plot lines. It's a pleasure to read and leaves the reader looking forward to the last installment of the trilogy to be out this summer.Book Review: Why all the curse words?

My kids and I really enjoyed this book. It's not quite as exciting as Inkheart, but a good story nonetheless. However, we were dismayed at all the curse words! What is the purpose of them in a book geared toward 9-12 year olds? Lot's of da*ns, h*lls, and a couple of bas*ards and bi*chs. What for? Sheesh!
