Book Review: great story, miniscule in size

omg what a ripoff. I buy all my books thru amazon new and used section and i adore Nora Roberts... imagine my surprise when my last 12 book order came, and contained 3 of these Micro mini books.. (Spellbound, Midnight in Death and Interlude in death) and not only were they marked 299 on the cover but i had paid 349 postage alone, per book LOL... well buyer beware i suppose... they are good short stories as all Nora Roberts books are. But i am so sad to sit here and feel like i was ripped off by nothing being written in the add that stated was a short story. At least then it could have been my choice to pay extra for a book i hadn't read ((Book Review: Entering twilight zone

In the year 2059, Eve, the tough cop, and her husband, Roarke, attend a Law Enforcement and Security Conference at the Olympus Resort on another planet. The Olympus Resort is owned by Eve's wealthy husband, Roarke. As the plot thickens, there is a murder in the resort for Eve to solve. Totally fascinating, taking your imagination on a ride visualizing life in the future. I really love these short stories of Nora's so you are not spending several days reading one book in your spare time.

Interlude In DeathThis was another fantastic romatic mystery. I love the suspense and excitement that J.D.Robb brings to her books.I love the In death series each of the books are very different and give me a feeling as sitting on the edge of a chair about to fall off because they keep me in suspense.
I am presently stationed in Misawa Japan and I still am able to receive in a timely manner all of the series.

This is not a review of the book - it is a review of the ridiculous 88 page joke I received. Obviously I did not read the description fully enough as this is a tease, not a book - TV Guide is thicker! I love all of the JD Robb books and was looking forward to a good read. I would return BOTH of these 88 page items but I already paid $5.00 shipping, and it would cost me again to return - lesson learned. Don't waste the money as it is NOT the bargain it appears to be.Book Review: disappointed

I have been a jd robb fan for many years and was very excited to get two new novels in the mail only to discover that interlude and midnight in death are both only 90 page novels (or stories). i was expecting full size novels, although they were decent that is not nearly enough pages to get a decent plot. i think that in the future the number of pages of a book should be listed so that there arent many disappointed fans in the future.
