This is BY FAR my FAVORITE quilt book!!! The patterns are unique and not too difficult to make. The author has made great suggestions for fabric selection and alternate sizes. Whenever I need a new pattern, I pick this book up first.
The service from the seller was excellent. The item was shipped and received in a timely way. However there was some shipping damage done to the book, so a sturdier envelope might be in order.

Jelly Roll Quilts is not only a beautiful book, it's chock full of wonderful design. The book features 17 quilts with step-by-step instructions and color illustrations on turning those luscious rolls of fabric into works of art. The book completely demystified the use of jelly rolls, and gave me the confidence and information with which to create lovely quilts.
Do add it to your quilting library. You'll be so glad you did!

This book has some great patterns for the use of those jelly rolls we all collect. I have not tried any of the patterns yet, but I have one picked out that I am going to try as soon as I finish the quilt I am currently making. These patterns seem pretty easy to make and the directions are very detailed. They have some great pictures of some beautiful quilts. If anyone likes looking at just the pictures and dreaming about one day making that quilt, this is the book to fill that dream. Happy quilting.Book Review: Great project book

I had originally borrowed this book from the library but then, had to buy it to keep! It has a lot of wonderful projects for using jelly rolls. Great assortment of designs and types, enough to keep this beginning quilter busy for a good long while!
The details and photos are great. One or more of the prior reviewers noted errors in one or more of the instructions, but I will watch the directions and use care. Great book at a reasonable price.

I bought this book and made the Friendship Braid (which is on the cover). I had a blast. The instructions were easy to follow and it was less intimidating once I got going. I finished the quilt and showed it off to my Mom over the holidays. She ended up with my book and a jelly roll to try. I think she is doing the Starlight Express pattern and is having a great time piecing it together.
Looks like I will need to get myself a new copy!
