Book Review: Beautiful quilts - detailed instructions

This book has beautiful patterns and detailed instructions for each. It also includes alternate color schemes for each quilt. I'm currently making the cover quilt which is going together easily. I would recommend this book for quilters with at least basic knowledge and experience. Jelly Roll Quilts are GREAT for all skill levels.Book Review: Nice patterns!

I bought this book for inspiration after buyng a Moda jelly roll on a whim and then having no idea what to do with it. I have read through the book several times, and I can't wait to make several of the patterns. I am keeping my eyes open for additional jelly rolls to buy that will work with the pattern designs. The book was in excellent condition. It contained many great ideas and projects and gave the required fabric purchases and cutting/sewing details. It had a great variety of quilting projects specifically for the use of jelly rolls. Great photographs of the finished quilts. This was just not an interesting book of quilt designs. I realize that Jelly Rolls and the whole Bake Shop phenomenon is significant and a total genius move by Moda but this book simply seems to have benefited from being first to market on the concept rather than having any truly interesting designs.Book Review: Jelly Roll Quilts

I love this book. It is easy to follow the directions for several jelly roll quilts, as well as some excellent quilting tips. A friend of mine recommended this particular book as we are both avid quilters. I have enjoyed the book and have recommended it to other quilters. Thank you!
