My husband reads this to my kids ages 3 and 2 every night. My three year old has it memorized and reads it back to daddy too. Right after, they always go to bed!! It's the greatest book. My 3 year old loves this book. I do too, when she's being difficult about going to sleep, we read this and she follows Lil Critters example. LOL I use whatever works...and this works.
